Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients
5 kg Diced potatoes
5 kg
Arctic Gardens Fall Medley
1 cup butter
2 tbsp nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup olive oil
800g
Arctic Gardens Diced onions
5kg lean ground beef
1 can (100 oz)
Arctic Gardens Whole kernel corn
1 can (100 oz) Cream corn
Preparation
1. Preheat combi oven in steam mode to 210°F (100°C) / 100% humidity
2. Bake potatoes and fall medley blend for 5-6 minutes.
3. Puree potatoes and vegetables with butter, season with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Set aside.
4. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) / 100% humidity.
5. Brown onions in oil, then add ground beef. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook until the water in the onions has almost completely evaporated.
6. In 2" high dishes, spread ground beef in an even layer. Continue with corn kernels and creamed corn, then top with a thick layer of mashed potatoes and vegetables.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
