Gourmet bowl of vegetables and chicken with bacon & cheddar
Ingredients
2 bags
Arctic Gardens Prince Edward Blend 2 lbs
18 chicken breasts, cubed
Salt and freshly ground pepper
25 slices of bacon, cut into 2.5 cm (1 inch) pieces
3 1/4 cups sour cream
1 1/2 cups chopped fresh chives
3 1/4 cups grated old cheddar cheese
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
2. Spread the vegetable blend and chicken cubes on parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
3. Season with salt and pepper and add the bacon pieces on top of vegetables and chicken.
4. Bake for 25 minutes* or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crisp.
5. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix the sour cream with chives and cheddar cheese.
6. Remove baking sheet from oven and empty contents into the bowl.
7. Stir well to melt the cheese. Adjust seasoning and serve in bowls.
Enjoy with a fork and spoon to scoop out all the sauce.
* If you choose to use a combi oven, remember to adjust the cooking time accordingly.
