Ingredients

  • 2 bags (4,4 lbs) Arctic Gardens Whole Baby Carrots
  • ½ cup (4 oz) of unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup (6 oz) of maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp of lime juice
  • 3 tbsp of lime zest
  • 3 tbsp of cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Boil or steam carrots for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. In a frying pan, melt the butter and then add the maple syrup and lime juice. Cook for about 1 minute or until syrupy consistency is obtained.
  3. Add carrots, lime zest, cilantro, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the carrots are glazed.
  4. Serve immediately.
