Maple Glazed Carrots, Lime and Cilantro

Arctic Gardens Whole Baby Carrots

½ cup (4 oz) of unsalted butter

¾ cup (6 oz) of maple syrup

3 tbsp of lime juice

3 tbsp of lime zest

3 tbsp of cilantro, chopped

1 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
Preparation
- Boil or steam carrots for 3 to 5 minutes.
- In a frying pan, melt the butter and then add the maple syrup and lime juice. Cook for about 1 minute or until syrupy consistency is obtained.
- Add carrots, lime zest, cilantro, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the carrots are glazed.
- Serve immediately.
